Legends took my car in for a breakdown service in a Friday night and had it back up and running on a Sunday. Mind blown. Never could have imagined such a good outcome. You really need your car in a remote town like Hedland and GBTK got my wheels back on the road pronto. Very thankful.

My Motorhome broke down at Pardoo Roadhouse WA. As I am in Racv Total Care, Rac contacted Adrian from GBTK who came to tow me back to Wedgefield WA. His calmness and professional approach to the situation calmed me down, I knew I was in good hands as I am a female travelling on my own.He also guided me on what I needed to do and who to contact. The amazing diligent team that work for him are also to be commended.The support and help the Team at GBTK had given me has been amazing especially Leigh whilst my Motorhome was in the workshop.They are amazing company.

Not too impressed. About a year ago we dropped in with a Nissan X-Trail constantly going into the limp mode.The mechanic said he couldn't reproduce the problem. He reset the engine warning light, cleaned up sensors, and as we asked - changed the fuel filter and oil. We visited twice and each time after we left, we had the limp mode coming back within 5 minutes of driving.We got informed that spots of oil on the inside of the engine air filter suggested the turbocharger was nearing its end of life, and the replacement wouldn't make sense considering the age of the car.The cost of the diagnostics, cleanup, fuel filter and oil changes turned out to be about 30% higher than estimated by the mechanic the day before.Afterwards, dejected, we talked to 2 different mechanics, and they both instantly suggested a faulty turbo solenoid could be at fault, which is apparently a common issue with X-Trails. After swapping out the faulty part, the car runs perfectly 30k km later.

Drove through port hedland not intending to stay but my car had other plans! Mark and dean helped me out and they were so lovely - fit me in on a busy day and were super super helpful getting me everything I needed to get back on the road and answer all my questions!!! Super fair and amazing.

I’ve only just moved here and randomly stumbled across the boys at GBTK. They have sorted every issue I’ve had with my vehicles with promt, meticulous service with second to none attitude! Total legends every person I’ve recommended to go there have all said they wouldn’t go anywhere else and neither will I. Love ya work legends!

Arrived my Prado yesterday and was blown away with the customer service. My partner and I are from out of town, they were able to accommodate us with a next day booking for major service. Not only that they offered to drop us back into town instead of making us order a taxi. The Jillian and the team were very communicative and polite. Would highly recommend to anytime in headland or stopping through.

We had issue with our Alternator (although brand-new from Broome). We did not know what could have been the problem. We manage to get to GBTK before or battery got completely flat. Adrian kindly helped us start the car and redirected us to his workshop team. The team was very welcoming and friendly. We appreciated the communication. They helped us right away. They took the time to explain to us what was going on. The wires were burned which prevented the battery to charge and also could have damaged the new alternator. They took the time to explain the process and gave us several options. They offered us a lift to the shopping center but we were also welcome to stay in the office with them.We definitely recommend this place!

Where to start… well if you’re contemplating getting any work done in Port Hedland, I would suggest that you instead just pay for a tow to Karratha.-We drop off the car on a Tuesday morning.-Get a call early afternoon that I’d be $660 for the job. (Rear bearing was shredded).-We accept gladly. (we end up paying nearly triple that a week later for the same job!)-Get a call late evening that the job might carry over to the next day.-Turns out the mechanic spent the better part of the first day putting the wrong part on the car. -We’re offered a vehicle to use from 8pm-7:00am. A gesture which would have been much more appreciated many hours before that, at 8pm it’s more of a chore than a convenience. Had to check out early from the hotel just to drop off the vehicle.- The hotel was $260 and the most disgusting hotel we have stayed at ever. (Reviewed)- Wednesday is more of the same, we’re trapped in South Hedland with no accommodation because it’s just too expensive.-The mechanic spent the better part of the second day figuring out what part we actually needed (for a 98 Toyota Hiace)- the mechanic found the part we needed, bad news is that it was in Melbourne and would take up to a week to arrive.- We scramble to get the only rental car available in Port Hedland, at the cost of $157 a day.- All told we spend $1500 dollars to:1. Get the heck out of Port Hedland2. Find accommodation until the next Tuesday (which included sleeping at rest stops)Which leads me to today; the day we pick up our vehicle and get an invoice for $1490. GBTK decided to charge 9 labor hours for a 3 hour job. (Only $1200 if we paid in cash.. wow)..All because the mechanic spent the better part of a day putting the wrong part on the vehicle. Adrian should be ashamed of himself. But he’s not, because he approved this unethical attempt to screw over someone who had very few other options.1. Communication was horrible (only found out the vehicle was ready because we called for an update)2. Classifying our vehicle as “the problem child” is insulting3. Passing on the buck of your mechanics inexperience to the customer after quoting 1/3 of that a week before is a shady, slimy thing to do.

Fitted us in at short notice when we noticed wheel bearing problems with our caravan.Very helpful and friendly, we waited while they worked and we’re offed cold water and an undercover spot to sit.Genuine friendly people, who got the job done quickly for us!Thank you so much for your amazing service.
